In the coming years, hexene availability is projected to increase significantly across various regions in China, with producer sales anticipated to reach approximately 341,000 tonnes by 2028, according to OilChem analysts.

Against this backdrop, China's hexene supply is expected to continue growing. However, this growth is likely to outstrip the demand for polyethylene copolymer, potentially worsening supply-demand imbalances.

As a result, China's hexene export volumes are set to rise. However, with international markets becoming increasingly unpredictable and fragmented, hexene producers are expected to depend more on business agents rather than handling exports independently.
